I love the written word, derivations and meanings, and gain great pleasure out of fashioning them into poems, the occasional article and even the odd sketch.
I have been writing since I was in the sixth form and really wish I had studied English Lit rather than Geography – a change of direction, you could say!
I have made one or two attempts to get my work published to reach a wider public and raise funds for charity but without much joy. So I have decided to at least try to make it available to friends and family and a blog is my chosen vehicle for getting there.
I have written poems on a wide variety of themes, from political comment to religion, comedy to climate change, relationships to social issues, travel and poems for children.
I hope that as I get onto this more my blog will improve with the use of images and audi
